Yoga is often misunderstood—“I’m not flexible,” “Yoga is only for women,” “It’s too slow,” or “It’s just stretching.” This workshop is designed to change that, in the most friendly and practical way. In the first part, we’ll bust the most common myths and explore what yoga truly is: a complete system for body, breath, mind, and daily life. You’ll get a simple, relatable introduction to Patanjali’s 8 limbs of yoga—so you understand why asana (postures) is only one part of the bigger picture. In the second part, you’ll experience a beginner-friendly practice with clear cues and options, followed by a calming breath technique you can use anytime you feel stressed or overwhelmed. Perfect for you if you’re curious about yoga but feel intimidated, unsure, or “not the yoga type.” If you are already familiar with Yoga poses (asanas), it is a good workshop even for you because you will will learn about the other limbs of Patanjali's Yoga Sutras. Come as you are—no flexibility or prior experience needed. Suited for practitioners of any level.
